About Lisa Guerrero
Lisa Guerrero is an accomplished actress, who most recently starred in the award winning family film “A Plumm Summer” alongside Henry Winkler, William Baldwin and Jeff Daniels. She has appeared in over 200 commercials and dozens of television shows including “The George Lopez Show”, “Frasier”, “Cybil”, and “In the Heat of the Night.” Lisa also starred as Francesca Vargas in Aaron Spelling’s “Sunset Beach.” She continues to pursue quality acting jobs in television, film and theatre. From 2007-2008 Lisa was a West Coast Correspondent of the highly watched newsmagazine “Inside Edition” and was the commentator for VH1’s 2006 game-show “World Series of Pop Culture.”
In the fall of 2004, Lisa starred in the San Francisco based theatrical production of “Extremities.” Her writing credits include a sports blog for the Los Angeles Times and the teen investigative thriller “SlamBook”, a film currently in development.
A 17-year broadcasting vet, Lisa is one of the most popular sports and entertainment
broadcasters in the country. She has covered some of the biggest events on television from the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes for E! Entertainment Network, to the Super Bowl, World Series and NBA Finals for Fox. In 2003, Lisa joined ABC as a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football helping them to their highest ratings in over a decade. She also covered The World and National Figure Skating Championships and hosted the national coverage of the Tournament of Roses parade for ABC. Lisa has hosted the weekend edition of “EXTRA” for Telepictures, and she was the update anchor for “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” on Fox Sports Net. She also traveled to Egypt with anchor Hugh Downs as the reporter for the network special “Live from Egypt: Opening the Tombs of the Golden Mummies.”
The Los Angeles Times called her “the hardest working person in sports” and the Hispanic Business Journal named her one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in America. President George W. Bush invited Lisa to host the Hispanic Heritage Month banquet at the White House.
Lisa is married to former Major League Baseball pitcher, Scott Erickson, with whom she also
shares her production company, Home Team Productions. Together they produced the Caroline Zelder helmed independent feature, “A Plumm Summer”. After its theatrical run in 2008, the film was released on DVD and via ‘Video on Demand’ in May of this year. Currently, they have two projects in development; a film (teen thriller) and a television series about baseball wives. Lisa is attached to both. Lisa and Scott divide their time between homes in Lake Tahoe and Malibu.
